Perez Mayoral, P.A. Featured in Boca Post Coverage of Highland Beach Condominium Lawsuit

Perez Mayoral, P.A. was recently featured in Boca Post for representing two homeowners in a lawsuit against the Parker Highland East Condominium Association in Highland Beach. The lawsuit alleges retaliation, disability discrimination, and familial status discrimination after the homeowners reported concerns involving a board member, requested a reasonable accommodation for a service animal, and challenged actions taken by the association.

Representing the homeowners, Perez Mayoral attorneys Steven V. Llarena and Lucia Liens filed the complaint, which seeks damages, declaratory and injunctive relief, and restoration of the homeowners’ rights. The lawsuit also challenges the association’s suspension of common area privileges and alleges that certain actions taken by the board exceeded the authority granted under Florida law. The allegations remain unproven, and the case is currently pending in Palm Beach County Circuit Court.
