Tyler Thompson

Tyler Thompson is an Associate Attorney at Perez Mayoral, P.A., where he focuses on representing property owners who have suffered damage to their home or condo.

Before joining Perez Mayoral, Tyler was an Associate with Gordon Rees Scully & Mansukhani, where he handled a broad range of general liability defense matters, including automobile and premises liability, professional malpractice, and employment discrimination and retaliation claims in both state and federal courts.

He previously represented policyholders in first-party property disputes at Simpson & Mena, managing cases from inception to resolution. Earlier in his career, Tyler worked with Hinshaw & Culbertson, defending insurers in first-party property matters. His combined experience representing both insureds and insurers allows him to view each matter from multiple perspectives and develop efficient, results-oriented strategies for his clients.

Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University, with an emphasis on international relations.
